Every day is a day to celebrate lesbians in the Space Fruit Press calendar, along with all LGBTQIA femmes, but for this year’s International Lesbian Day of Visibility on April 26th we have planned something special. Collaborating with our friends at I Heart SapphFic, we are featuring a flash sale on one of our WLW stories. Right now (and for the rest of the week) Daisy Fairchild’s suspenseful science fiction romp What the Empress Wants is available at Amazon for just $0.99 – or the equivalent in whatever market you’re in.

If you’ve already read Daisy’s story, we have more FF pairings available including her wonderful fantasy tale Tasting Much Sweeter Than Wine. You can also check out Catherine Fletcher’s tales of Canadian lesbians on a road trip or alien/human love, and Louisa Vidal’s WLW space lawyers.
As well as curling up with a lesbian love story, other ways to celebrate lesbian visibility include wearing violets – the flower that was historically used to indicate that you were in the Sapphic club; displaying the delightful Lesbian Pride flag; supporting queer causes and charities; and/or having sex with a woman.
